Robert considers himself to be a blessed man to be married to JoAnn (Cardenas) May and to be the father of two amazing children, John and Zoe.

Robert May is a respected minister and anointed teacher of the Word of God.  Since graduating from Bible College in 1994, Robert has been in full time ministry.  The first 4 ½ years of his ministry he served faithfully as an associate minister.  His responsibilities included establishing all areas of the helps ministry and training workers to take their place.   He traveled to smaller congregations to train and equip congregations to take there place in the helps ministry and to catch the vision their Pastor has and to “Run with It.”

In 1999 the Lord called Robert and his wife JoAnn to go out into another community to pioneer a church.  He presently is the faithful Pastor of Oak Ridge Family Bible Church in Oak Ridge, Tennessee.  Robert has an intense love for The Lord and the local church and respects the office of Pastor.  When he ministers it is evident that the spirit of Love, Wisdom and Understanding is in the room and people receive strength, encouragement and power to live a life that glorifies The Lord.

One of his greatest desires is teaching, training and imparting to the next generation of ministers’ and as an instructor at New Life Bible College, founded by Dr. Novel Hayes, he considers it one of the highest privileges and honors he has received from the Lord.

Pastor Robert and JoAnn are committed to their community and those who live in it.  Whether it is through coordinating the Oak Ridge National Day of Prayer Community Event or serving as a Chaplain for the Oak Ridge Police Department Pastor Robert is committed to serving his community.

He has been blessed to have traveled to Belize, Central America and the beautiful European country of Hungary.
